'I AINT RICH YET'- DIRTY DANGER'S ALBUM - 04.04.2011

Part of the infamous grime collective Ruff Squad, Dirty Danger (real name David Nkrumah) was brought up in Bow, E3; stomping ground of Dizzy Rascal, Wiley and Tinchy Strider. He started making music at 13 when his father brought a PC for the kids to do their school work but instead Dirty found Fruity Loops and started making beats from there. With the help of Ruff Squad’s other members, Rapid and Slix, at only 16 years old Dirt released his first white label MISTY COLD, which sold over 2,000 copies.

Being the youngest member of Ruff Squad and still at school, there were times when he had to leave early to make their afternoon radio set. Relishing in the golden era of pirate radio he appeared on radio stations like Rinse, Deja Vu and Heat FM. These days he’s more suited to performing on 1Xtra for the likes of Mista Jam and Tim Westwood.

Along with Rapid, Dirt played a very big part of the creations of Guns N Roses 1 & 2 by producing all the beats. Dirt also played a substantial role in Tinchy Strider’s first album Star In The Hood, producing half of the album plus three tracks on his previous album Catch 22, which sold over 190,000 copies in the UK. Now aged 23, Dirt is currently gearing up to go on the road with Skepta. Still making great music, he has already packed out several clubs nights this year including I Luv Live at Cargo in Shoreditch, where the crowd sang along to hits such as Love Me.

Emerging from the Ruff Squad collective grime MC Dirty Danger, is well on his way to make a buck or two.
4.4.2011 is the date that Dirty Danger (David Nkrumah) launches his album, well known for his creativity and production capabilities amongst his musical peers the I AINT RICH YET project is definitely one to look out!
