Let's propose a toast ...Urban Development boast's he's one to watch this lyrically versatile artist is known as 'BRUTS'
Urban Development and MOBO present a host of acts to keep an eye on over the next year. Bruts will be performing at Industry Takeover on 16. 4. 2011
Bruts (also know as Brutal) is a 20-year old rapper, singer and producer from east London. Initially making a name for himself in the grime scene, he has worked with some of the biggest artists in the genre including Chipmunk, Ghetts, Griminal, Wiley, Mercston and Scorcher to name but a few. However, after time away from the industry (much of which was spent in the studio), Bruts decied to make the transition from grime to rap. To date, he has produced numerous mixtapes including the popular School Days and Welcome To The Strip, and in October 2010, amidst much talk about his rap crossover, Bruts released Hell Yeah I’m Here as a response to his critics. Bruts recently released the second volume of Hell Yeah I’m Here which showcased more of his experimental capabilities.
MOBO says...
“We look forward to hearing what he comes with next…”
